Cutek is sold as a clear oil which can be used to protect the wood from moisture and moisture related movement such as cupping and warping. Cutek as a clear oil allows the wood to age gracefully into a beautiful silver patina on exposure to sunlight. However, if you would like to retain the natural freshly oiled colour of the timber you are working with you need to add a Cutek Colourtone to the clear oil and maintain the timber substrate accordingly.
